After months of dreaming, planning, scribbling ideas on Starbucks napkins and hijacking dinner conversations with my unwaveringly supportive family, Wish & Pink became a reality one year ago! What a wild and wonderful ride it’s been as I found myself transformed from a full-time mom with a passion for all things pretty to a business owner traveling the world in search of original and on-trend gifts I could curate into one-of-a-kind collections and deliver in a uniquely beautiful manner.
Among the awesome memories of this magical year was a trip to New York City with my daughter and dear friends that hit a high point during our behind-the-scenes visit to NBC’s “Today” show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb – the ultimate way to spend time with girlfriends!
I was so excited to hang out with those two warm and funny women and present each of them my “Style Me Pretty” gift box inspired by Abby Larson, founder of the style-savvy online wedding resource of the same name. They both loved the treasures inside as well as Wish & Pink’s trademark pink-and-gold packaging. Abby has been a guest on the “Today” fourth hour along with Hoda, who was obviously moved to receive a gift box celebrating Abby’s joy of life.
As you might expect, Hoda needed no stage direction in setting up flattering selfies as she scooped up my phone and began snapping pictures that perfectly captured the fun we had that morning. Honestly, she and Kathie Lee are as kind, gracious and spontaneous as they appear on screen and the chemistry between them is delightful – if it could be bottled I’d feature it in a Wish & Pink gift box!
So join me in raising a glass of bubbly (fitting, given Kathie Lee’s and Hoda’s love of the fruit of the vine) to Wish & Pink’s successful first year and a bright ‘n beautiful future!
We are honored to have partnered with Kind Campaign and for the month of March we will be donating 50 percent from the purchase price of our Kindness Gift Boxes to help in their efforts of spreading kindness across the globe.
Kind Campaign is an internationally recognized movement, documentary and school program based upon the powerful belief in KINDness that brings awareness and healing to the negative and lasting effects of girl-against-girl “crime.”
Since the founding of Kind Campaign in 2009, Lauren Paul and Molly Thompson have held Kind Campaign assemblies and Finding Kind screenings in hundreds of schools across the country. Their presentation and interactive activities create a casual and conversational atmosphere that allows girls to feel comfortable about talking about their experiences while opening up to their peers. The Kind Campaign assembly is a life-changing experience that will likely change the social dynamic among the female students within every school they visit.
In January 2014, we were honored to meet Lauren and Molly by way of a Kind Campaign fundraising event. As the mother of teenage daughters, we saw first hand how cruel girls can be to other girls. When we came across Kind Campaign we knew the importance of their cause and wanted to step in and help any way we could. We had a wonderful afternoon of dining with the girls, hearing all about how they founded Kind Campaign and the passion behind their cause. We are truly grateful for their inspiration and teaching us how being kind is a vital way of bringing meaning to our own lives as well as others
We hope that you’ll help us give back to the Kind Campaign this month while spreading some kindness to someone you know that might need to have their day brightened with a little bit of encouragement. Our Kindness Gift Box allows you to easily be a light in someones world. And remember, fifty percent of the purchase price will go directly to supporting the mission of the Kind Campaign!

Hello and welcome to my brand new re-designed website!
I truly appreciate you for following along with me on this wonderful journey of creating and presenting beautiful gifts. I believe that giving gifts, the presentation-if done right can be just as impactful as the gift itself. Giving and receiving gifts brings joy, shares love and in many ways, shows you care. One of my favorite quotes is by the compassionate Mother Teresa: “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
The inspiration behind many of my boxes is romance and femininity and it is my desire for our gifts to make both the giver and receiver feel appreciated, loved and indulged.
I have learned that starting a business on your own really takes a village and I have been blessed with the support of clients and industry professionals who believe in my product and my passion for gift giving.
Steve and Jamie Moore of Sinclair and Moore have come on board to help with marketing, product styling, inspiration, and pretty much everything else I might be in need of. They have been by my side every step of the way as we prepared for this new launch. I am in awe of their talent, work ethic and their sincerity.
I owe my incredible new website to Chris and Sally Balt of la Happy Design. Their eye for detail is exceptional and I could not be more thrilled with the final design. In addition to web design, Sally has also blessed our brand with her beautiful letterpress calligraphy cards with inspirational quotes.
I have the talented Matthew Land to thank for all of the beautiful photography. His photos are exceptional and do an amazing job of capturing the beauty of our gift box and the lovely gifts inside. You will have the pleasure of seeing much more of his work coming to the website soon with the addition of new theme gifts!
These amazing people have all become partners, collaborators and dear friends.
